Frivolous Friday! Enjoying the Rain

It’s Frivolous Friday!

Thought I would share some of the fun I squeezed in this week (in between all my portrait sessions and retouching work.)

Yep, this happened #1:

Yay for RAIN!

And even better, it was rain I got to enjoy from home rather than having to be out driving in it!

I read that this season was the driest start to rainfall, water year in San Diego’s recorded weather history – since 1850!

So yep, we needed that storm!

And rest assured, I was out playing in it!

I found lots of beautiful things…like this view of my creek that looks a bit like a painting by Monet…

Flashy was having some “rain zoomies”

We also found some raindrops on roses…

Found a bit of a smile 😉 while out on my morning walk….

And what do you know????  A RAINBOW! Yep, this happened #2:

And if you are home enjoying the rain, the obvious thing to do is bake some cookies!

So I DID!

Wish you could smell this amazing aroma….

Ate a cookie for you….

What can I say:  I’m Feeling Blessed!
