Senior Portraits: Creating a splash In & Out of the pool

Your senior year is a major milestone and it deserves a unique and individualized portrait session.

Let’s tell a story about who you are senior year!

I think senior portraits should capture who you are senior year – that’s why I always encourage

my high school seniors to choose a location they love and bring a bunch of outfits and props that will help tell the story.

Ruby-Skye brought some great outfits and her little pooch Munch!

I love high school and college senior portrait sessions — it’s fun to chat, laugh and capture some portraits all along the way for our entire hour together.

It’s all about individualizing the session – where in San Diego do you want to meet?  How many outfits would you like to bring?

Will your family join you for a few portraits?   Let’s put some personality into our session with laughs, smiles, serious and fun poses!

I always make a point to sometimes capture smiles and no smiles and color and black and white of the each portrait – so the teen has variety.

And speaking of variety – Ruby-Skye wanted to finish her session in a BALL GOWN in THE POOL!!!

She also wanted a moody feel to her portraits so I photographed with more shadows….she was so happy with these!

(Mom told me they couldn’t decide on their favorite!)

We started with this amazing swan float….

And then she stepped into the chilly water….to create even more beautiful portrait opportunities.
