Frivolous Friday! From the Desert to the Sea: Wolf Pup RV Adventure #5

It’s Frivolous Friday!

Thought I would share some of the fun I squeezed in this week (in between all my portrait sessions and retouching work.)

Yep, this happened #1:

Met a sea serpent this week!

Here he (she?) is with our little Wolf Pup RV….

We spent three glorious days soaking in the warmth and color of the desert!

Speaking of color…the wildflowers were in bloom!   (It was officially listed as ‘low bloom’ but it was still beautiful!

We hiked around a bit to see some of the other sculptures too –there are so, SO, SO MANY scattered all around the desert!

 

…but some are a little more fun than others….lol

We saw lots of other amazing sights too…this sweet little hummingbird was enjoying her morning nectar courtesy of the Ocotillo blooms.

And butterflies were everywhere….

And while there weren’t a ton of wildflowers, there were some beautiful pops of color all around the desert floor.

Did you know Borrego Springs is a designated “Dark Sky Community?”  The stars were fabulous!

Yep.  This happened #2

We didn’t ONLY go to the desert on this trip!  [gasp!]

We also camped for two nights at the beach!

(And there were wildflowers there too!)

We stayed at Doheny State Beach – near San Clemente to soak up some Vitamin Sea!

And in case you are wondering how a poodle stacks up against a California Dolphin….

Yep, this happened #3:

We ate.  A lot of yummy food!  And Shrimp Boil is going to be in my camping dinner rotation because it’s easy (one pot!) and delish!

What can I say:  I’m Feeling Blessed!

And do you know what else I’m blessed by?     Capturing amazing moments for you to treasure for a lifetime!
