Frivolous Friday! Lighting up the night….
It’s Frivolous Friday!
Thought I would share some of the fun I squeezed in this week (in between all my portrait sessions and retouching work.)
Yep, this happened #1:
Made one more portrait of my peppermint Christmas tree before I packed everything away. (We always put up our tree in November and take it down the day after Christmas because I need my clean orderly decor back! EEK!)
I made this portrait by photographing my Christmas Tree through a glass ball (which flips the image.)
The sparkles in the background are the lights from my tree (fun fact: the out-of-focus lights which are created with a particular lens and process are called “Bokeh.”)
Yep, this happened #2:
Speaking of trees, of course we kept up our yearly tradition of hiking up to the top of the mountain to visit Poway’s amazing 75 foot tall Christmas tree!
Yep, this happened #3:
We also ventured out to stroll though the Safari Park after dark – and it was beautiful!
My favorite spot was the tunnel of light – where you are surrounded with moving lights and fun holiday music!
Jungle Bells at Safari Park and the SD Zoo are open through January 2nd – so go check them out for the perfect end to your holiday season.
