Small weddings deserve just as much attention and beautiful photography as a large wedding – so I’m always honored and excited to photograph a small wedding at the Courthouse or San Diego County Administration building.

This was my first time photographing a wedding at the Santee County Administration Building Courthouse – and wowza is it beautiful!

I met the bride and groom, Madison and Jesse, out in front of the East County Recorder’s office….

I love to capture all the details beforehand – just so they have a perfect story of the day from mom adjusting her daughter’s veil, to the bouquet and sparkly rings!

Normally I would have followed the couple indoors to photograph while they signed paperwork,

but due to covid everyone but the couple had to wait outside.

So I captured as much as I could because as ALWAYS my goal is to tell a story!

They do have an indoor chapel – but the outdoor ceremony site is really beautiful!

And the KISS is always the perfect ending…lol

Then it was time for lots of hugs and well wishes….

And then we started formal family portraits as well as romantic portraits with just the bride and groom

And when you have a get-away car as cool as this one – OF COURSE we needed that in some portraits!
