Frivolous Friday! Celebrating early with Red, White, Blue and the Beach
It’s Frivolous Friday!
Thought I would share some of the fun I squeezed in this week (in between all my portrait sessions and retouching work.)
Yep, this happened #1:
I’m gearing up for some 4th of July FUN! How about you? What do you have planned?
I started a little early this year adding some fun to our menu….
Spiking the drinks (insert hubby’s eye roll here)
And testing out a new way to serve watermelon….
And who can resist a homemade apple pie? Thanks to my bride Alison and her family for treating me to this wonderful pie filled with apples from their own garden!
Yep. This happened #2
My schedule finally slowed down enough for me to enjoy my first official beach walk of the summer this week!
Made a few new friends….
And stopped to watch a sea lion doing some body surfing!
We looked around the tidepools and spotted some beautiful sea life too!
Went home with a happy glow, sandy feet and a smile that lasted through the rest of the day’s portrait retouching work
and right into my sunset portrait session…guess where that was?
That very same evening I was back at the beach at sunset for a portrait session….a full circle of fun!!!
