Frivolous Friday: A Boo-tiful Visit and Pumpkins Galore
It’s Frivolous Friday!
Thought I would share some of the fun I squeezed in this week (in between all my portrait sessions and retouching work.)
Yep, this happened #1:
Every now and then I zipping over to my folk’s house in Palm Springs to check on them and squeeze in some covid safe fun.
This time I brought a few props and we had an impromptu Halloween shoot!
Are they the cutest, or what?
Trick or Treat!
Yep, this happened #2:
I couldn’t let my folks have all the fun, I took cackling ole me to the pumpkin patch.
I was ALL BY MYSELF because the hubs wasn’t interested and I couldn’t imagine an autumn without a visit to the pumpkin patch!!!!
So I decided to carve out some fun! 😉 Hee hee!
I have a selfie stick with tripod legs – so a pumpkin patch pic was easy-peasy….
“Orange you pumped for Halloween?”
I you haven’t been to the pumpkin patch yet this year, I say “GO!”
Masks are required and there’s lots of space to spread out – so it feels very safe!
BTW: “How do you repair a broken jack o’ lantern? Use a pumpkin patch.”
And that got me thinking….
What do you get if you divide the circumference of a pumpkin by its diameter?
Pumpkin Pi (of COURSE!) hee hee…oh I crack myself up!
And oh my gourd, I was lucky enough to make a new friend while I was there!
Yep, this happened #3:
I also had so much fun this month making a Care Package to send my Matt.
You might not know this about me, but I LOVE giving gifts and spend lots of time thinking and planning for the best gifts.
So I send a care package a few times a year!
And after all that work, I had to treat myself to a little witchy little snack…with pumpkin cheese, worms, blood, eyeballs and other creepy things…..muh huh huh haaaaaa……
What can I say: I’m Feeling Blessed!
And do you know what else I’m blessed by? Capturing amazing moments for you to treasure for a lifetime!
