Frivolous Friday: A Foggy Morning, Spiders and a Well Deserved Coffee Break
It’s Frivolous Friday!
Thought I would share some of the fun I squeezed in this week (in between all my portrait sessions and retouching work.)
Yep, this happened #1:
Pretend I was taking you out for coffee at a yummy bakery – here are your choices, tell me what would you order?
I picked the Reuben Sandwich and a Peach Lemonade.
How weird am I ?
Here’s the scoop – first of all we were at O’Brien’s Boulangerie in Poway (it was my first visit to this bakery and definitely won’t be my last!)
It was 10:00am but since I’d already been up since 5:00am I was waaay past a pastry (it had been 5 hours since my oatmeal for crying out loud so I was ready for lunch!)
And I love, LOVE a cup of coffee first thing in the morning, but after that I’m over it and prefer a cool beverage or water….hence the peach lemonade!
And don’t you love their little letterboard? Me for sure!
Yep, this happened #2:
The reason my coffee break was well deserved was because I’d just hiked 6 miles at Lake Hodges!
Where I made a couple of new friends, like this Heron…
Stately, isn’t he?
And this cute little jack rabbit….
Foggy morning hikes are my fav because the fog makes everything extra beautiful — I’m loving all those layers of mountains!
(This is looking east – there is some water in Lake Hodges, you just have to hike a few miles to see it~)
But my FAVORITE thing about foggy mornings is the sparkle the moisture adds to everything…..from weeds…
Aren’t they beautiful?
And met one of the web builders!
I think this is a brown recluse – so we didn’t stay to shake hands with the artist….we stayed far away for sure!
Oh. and one giant spider followed me home.
What can I say: I’m Feeling Blessed!
And do you know what else I’m blessed by? Capturing amazing moments for you to treasure for a lifetime!
sessions are an hour long with unlimited poses, unlimited outfits, unlimited fun!
