Frivolous Friday: Vitamin Sea in Large Doses!
It’s Frivolous Friday!
Thought I would share some of the fun I squeezed in this week (in between all my portrait sessions and retouching work.)
Yep, this happened #1:
Decided to splurge on a fun summery, ocean-y, Vitamin Sea filled dinner for the hubs and I.
There’s just nothing like a seafood boil to say hello to summer…is there?
If you’ve never done one, give it a try because they are really easy — you just add whatever seafood you like to a pot of boiling water and everything ends up perfectly cooked. (Let me know if you want my recipe)
When it’s done cooking just drain the big ole pot and dump it on paper in the middle of our kitchen table and DIG IN
Messy and so good!
Fun fact: hubby always cracks my crab legs for me and hands me the meat — is that true love or what?
And is there such a thing as too much butter on corn on the cob? I think not.
The end result is not as pretty as when the meal began….but cue me sighing with contentment….
Yep, this happened #2:
And in keeping with my ocean theme for the week – I got a good dose of Vitamin Sea during my first visit to the beach since the lockdown…we went early in the morning for a stroll.
And per the signs, I was wearing a mask and I did beware of sharks.
(Side note, I’ve never seen the Shark Advisory before, have you?)
I tossed my shoes aside and walked 13,387 steps just like this one…it was the first time I dipped my toesies in the Pacific Ocean this year!
We were walking at super low tide so there was PLENTY of room for social distancing….
(We parked on the street near Torrey Pines and walked to Del Mar and back for a nice little two hour adventure.)
Speaking of social distancing, these gulls were NOT and no mask [gasp and shameful]
But this guy WAS social distancing….and looked beautiful doing it!
What can I say: I’m Feeling Blessed!
And do you know what else I’m blessed by? Capturing amazing moments for you to treasure for a lifetime!
sessions are an hour long with unlimited poses, unlimited outfits, unlimited fun!
