San Diego Air & Space Museum 100th Birthday Party and Reception Photographer
Wanna know a secret? I LOVE celebrating with my clients (a.k.a. friends!) So when I got a call asking if I would photograph a Happy 100th Birthday Party
of course I was overjoyed!
The birthday party was at the San DIego Air & Space Museum – because the birthday boy is FEATURED in the museum and has been a lifelong pilot, adventurer and friend of the museum.
Here’s his display and a painting on display!
I always arrive early so I can photograph all the beautiful details and decorations
before guests arrive – so all of that is captured forever and I can focus on the family and guests when the party starts!
(Watching over me in the background this photo is Charles Lindbergh himself…pretty cool, huh?)
And let me just say right here that the San DIego Air and Space Museum is an amazing place for a party, event, reception, wedding, celebration — the interior courtyard is
so cool – and stay tuned to see how beautifully lit it is at night!
The details were beautiful and all set for an amazing and love filled celebration from the flowers to historic photos to fun facts about the year 1920!
And then it was time for the birthday boy to arrive – I made sure to greet him at the door to capture some amazing portraits!
(Side note-he was a pilot of the orange plane behind him! WHAAAAAT?)
There were hugs and smiles, laughs and cheers….

He also flew this plane – so we set up a little photo booth so guests could have an heirloom photo with the birthday boy…

And we wanted a photo of the entire group! (And yep, I was on a ladder to capture this!)
