Frivolous Friday! My work is hanging IN A MUSEUM (not kidding you!); Dia De Los Muertos and a Foggy Morning
It’s Frivolous Friday!
Thought I would share some of the fun I squeezed in this week (in between all my portrait sessions and retouching work.)
Yep, this happened #1:
Had yet another Oooo La LA moment when the San Diego Auto Museum called me and asked if they could
use one of MY PHOTOS of Chicano Park as part of their low rider classic auto display.
Seriously. How. Awesome. Is. That? A MUSEUM?
So as soon as the display was up I got to go check out my photo on their wall!
And while I was there I had to stroll around to admire the other cars in the museum….
(And check out that little plaque with my name on it!!!! woot!)
The San Diego Auto Museum is free for residents on the 4th Tuesday – so stop by!!
Yep, this happened #2:
Well after all that Museum Fabulousness, we HAD to go celebrate with lunch –
and we picked Old Town just in case any of their Day of the Dead Decorations were still up.
And yay for me, some of the altars were still there – don’t you just love the colors and attention to detail? What a beautiful way to honor loved ones!
This was from Casa Guadalajara – and it’s so beautiful !
Speaking of Casa Guadalajara, I ordered their Tropical Fruit Grilled Fish Tacos and they were delish!
I’m going to totally STEAL their “recipe” and make this at home for my hubs!
After lunch, we had a little stroll around the Bazaar Del Mundo too… just to see the colors and fun!
Yep, this happened #3:
I’m LOVING the cool foggy mornings, aren’t you? It’s so wonderful to hike when it’s not a million degrees outside.
We did some more exploring at Lake Hodges and of course I brought my camera.
Lucky for me I spotted this heron on the lookout for breakfast!
So graceful, don’t you think?
What can I say: I’m Feeling Blessed!
And do you know what else I’m blessed by? Capturing amazing moments for you to treasure for a lifetime!
sessions are an hour long with unlimited poses, unlimited outfits, unlimited fun!
