Frivolous Friday! A Bridal Shower, Dragon Fruit Iced Tea and Art at the Airport
It’s Frivolous Friday!
Thought I would share some of the fun I squeezed in this week (in between all my portrait sessions and retouching work.)
Yep, this happened #1:
Enjoyed a lovely afternoon celebrating this amazing Bride-to-be. She will be my future sister in law!!! WOOT~!
So my sister and I were excited to attend her Bridal Shower at the Miramonte Winery in Temecula.
Benny’s maid of honor just did an amazing job making sure all the details were perfect from games, to food, to cookies and favors!
So yummy and fun! You might remember when I photographed my brother and Benny’s Proposal and Engagement session…???
Well get ready to see their wedding in just a week!
Yep, this happened #2:
My pal and I met for a catch-up session at a Starbucks this week and it occurred to me that Starbucks is a great illustration for my own my photography business. And no it’s not because I serve Dragon Fruit Tea….
But bear with me here and let me ask you – when you are going to grab a drink somewhere why don’t we grab them at the local gas station? (Their prices are definitely cheaper…?)
I think the reasons we might go to a quality coffee shop are many – and so similar:
Savoring The Sweet Life Photography offers a boutique experience (just like your coffee shop)
We know that our coffee drink will be perfectly made and just how we like it;
And I have years and years of 5 Star experience in photography and professional posing so the quality will be perfect,
We know the quality coffee shop will be clean and staff will be welcoming;
You will get knock-your-socks-off Customer Service with me too,
I specialize in making sure you all have fun – I will gift you lots of good memories as well as amazing portraits!
We feel good knowing we’ve treated ourselves to the best of the best and aren’t settling for the sake of a dollar so we won’t be disappointed later…..
This is my philosophy too: I will take care of everything
From helping you plan what to wear, to ideas of where to meet, to including beautiful wall art with every portrait session- I’ll take care of everything!
You will have TONS of portraits in your gallery that you LOVE!
Yep, this happened #3:
I went to the airport not to fly or to pick someone up…!
Well I was there for my interview for TSA Global Entry Authorization (side note: I passed! Woot!)
I’m going to Germany and France this spring, so I decided to apply for Global Entry to speed up the customs process.
Since I was there a little early and without a suitcase in hand, I took a bit of time to
explore the art that our airport features – beautiful art is scattered everywhere!
I especially love the colorful displays on our new high tech parking garages!
The Airport’s arts program is called “Arrive. Depart. Be Inspired.”
And they want the art to “surprise and delight travelers with presentations of the highest caliber and showcase San Diego’s rich cultural community.”
Isn’t that fun? HERE is their website if you want to see all the art on display – how much of it have you noticed in your travels?
And how fun is this, as I was researching this website, I discovered that they also have scheduled Pop up Performances— have you ever seen one?
What can I say: I’m Feeling Blessed!
And do you know what else I’m blessed by? Capturing amazing moments for you to treasure for a lifetime!
sessions are an hour long with unlimited poses, unlimited outfits, unlimited fun!
