Welcome to Tara and Jason’s wedding day!
Couldn’t resist a re-post in honor of their wedding anniversary!
*This turn of the century historic landmark estate is set in total seclusion with an Old San Marcos Schoolhouse dating back to 1891 nestled among a towering forest that
dates back well over 100 years.
And it’s stunning….speaking of stunning:
Tara’s wedding gown was just gorgeous!
And don’t get me started on THE SHOES….
And the flowers were as beautiful as could be…

And I’ll mention right here that it had been drizzling on and off all day – so we watched the sky and ran out when it cleared.
But there were back up plans of a tent, tree cover and the porch!
I always love the sweet moment between Father and Daughter just before they
walk down the aisle….such an emotional time….
It rained a little in the morning, but then the skies cleared and the afternoon
While we are waiting for the ceremony to start, I like to capture a
quick portrait of each of the guests – seems to me that the bride and groom would like to
look back on who attended their wedding!
And finally, it’s time to begin….with the groom ready to see his bride….
Can I just say, I’m IN LOVE with this next portrait moment – it has so much sweetness –
Dad looking at daughter
Bride and groom looking at each other
Mother of groom looking at her son
…sigh…. so much happiness in one moment, don’t you think?
And I love having two perspectives of the kiss and walking down the aisle.
(Trust me on this: YOU ALWAYS want a second photographer at your wedding!)
So many beautiful details await their guests…..
The evening was filled with dance and laughter!
DJ: Greg@sdpartytimedjs.com kept the fun going all night long!
And how about a late night snack?
Tara and Jason treated their guests to a Macaroni and Cheese Bar!
I love to ask the couple to step out for a night time portrait – and they were game! 🙂
I brought along a clear umbrella in hopes of that!
And then Jason pulled back the umbrella and I created the next two amazing portraits-so don’t stress if it rains we will still create some amazing moments!
