Frivolous Friday: Dinosaurs and FIRE on the beach, Art Alive and lunch at our Japanese Garden Tea Pavilion
Frivolous: carefree and not serious, lighthearted, giddy
Guess what three things happened this week in between all my portrait sessions and retouching work???
Well…let me tell you….
Yep, this happened #1:
Met a couple of dinosaurs on the beach!
(Well, sorta!)
I just added a new piece of photography gear to my arsenal – an LED Projector!
This dinosaur was created ON THE BEACH –not with photoshop!
I also created some FIRE
And a song:
This has some fun potential for weddings,
(No sparklers were involved in this portrait – it was created with my new projector!)
Yep, this happened #2:
Enjoyed some Art that was ALIVE!
Every year I look forward to the “Art Alive” exhibit at the Museum of Art and this year was no different.
And as a member I get in free. Yay!
If you’ve never heard of it, the Museum is filled with 100+ floral interpretations of masterworks of art!
Here’s how it works: a florist is assigned a piece of art and is then asked interpret that art in flowers.
Here are a few of my favs (there are lots more ON MY BLOG)
(That first one was actually one of the top “Member’s Choice” art arrangements)

And of course after our Art Museum adventure, we had to go to LUNCH –
so we enjoyed a beautiful and art museum worthy Soba Salad at Balboa Park’s Japanese Tea Garden Pavilion….
What can I say: I’m Feeling Blessed!
