La Jolla Cove Suites Wedding: Published in San Diego Style Weddings Magazine Monica and Michael are married!

Monica and Michael’s wedding day was filled with sweet little details that really spoke of the couple and their love story….and I’d love to share some of them with you!
Details.  Beautiful Details!
Michael and Monica LOVE to travel – and they actually met while travelling and sort of fell in love from across the country – so of course their wedding day needed to reflect that…
From luggage tag wedding favors to travel decor through out the wedding the theme followed through the whole day.
But let me back up and start the story with our gorgeous bride being helped into her
stunning wedding gown….
The girls got ready in the bridal suite at the stunning
overlooking beautiful La Jolla Cove

And their wedding ceremony and reception were held on the rooftop terrace
with stunning views of the ocean….

Speaking of stunning views….
Did you notice that one uninvited guest joined us?
And yes, he was there for the entire ceremony -and completely behaved himself – sweet!

View from below:

Monica and Michael’s guests flew in from all over the country, so they really
wanted to attend cocktail hour – so weeks before we set a timeline that allowed for
just thirty minutes of Romantic Portraits on the beach – so they could be back with their guests.

I visited their wedding venue a few weeks in advance to plan a little “portrait route” for us
– we started with the cool and contemporary lifeguard shack….

And then walked around the rocky cliff to see the sunset.
And Ooooo La LA was it a sunset!

Here’s a funny little Behind the Scenes of me capturing that portrait:

(I think that was our friendly seagull and his friends in the background of that portrait…)

Then our 30 minute time for romantic portraits was up so we zipped back to their rooftop reception

All the details were perfect – thanks to their Wedding Coordinator: Angela at One Fabulous Event

Their dessert table looked so beautiful – cake artistry by  Kuba Kreations
And yummy and beautiful catering by: The Abbey Catering

Their amazing live band:  King Taylor Project,
set the tone for the evening – fun, hip and exciting!
And don’t get me started on how adorable the couple’s cocktail hour BACON BAR was!

The perfect midnight snack?
In-n-out OF COURSE!
