Frivolous Friday: The Most Festive Christmas Party Ever, the most dangerous thing in my house and a snowman on the beach

Frivolous:  carefree and not serious, lighthearted, giddy

Yep, this happened #1:

Enjoyed an amazing Christmas Luncheon!  As you might already know, I am blessed to serve on the Board Of Children’s ministry at my church.   Each Christmas our amazing Director, Roseanna treats us to

an over-the-top-amazing-in-every-way Christmas party.   (This is always one of the highlights of my Christmas season! For so many reasons!)

Her table is a feast for the eyes!  Can you see how much care and attention is put into each and every element of the party?

From festive drinks (sugared rosemary sprig as a garnish — how cute is that?)
Each of us had a beautiful favor to take home too!
And don’t get me started on how delicious the lunch is — a salad
And can you STAND the cuteness of these dessert trifles?  (Brownie and cream with peppermint bark and apple pie with cream and a gingersnap)
Which would you choose?  I couldn’t resist the chocolate!

Yep, this happened #2:

And speaking of sweets, I did a VERY dangerous thing this week.

I made peanut butter fudge….GASP!  It’s dangerous because I can’t control how much I put in my mouth!  Did you know

peanut butter is just about my most favorite food in the world?  (Okay well not counting lobster and crab, you know what I mean…right?)

Peanut butter fudge is the best of everything and you just can’t believe how many times each day a piece of peanut butter fudge can hit the spot!

With my first cup of coffee in the morning?  YEP.

As a mid morning treat?  YEP.

Lunchtime dessert?  For sure.

Afternoon snack with a cup of tea?  YEPPO

Sweet treat before bedtime?  Of course.

YIKES – do you see the danger I’ve created?

Also made chocolate fudge for hubby, but I’m not tempted by that at all (and thankfully he’s not tempted by MY peanut butter fudge either)

Good match, huh?

Yep, this happened #3:
Met a festive snowman on the beach by the Hotel Del — he’s very well made, but isn’t that a fun idea?
I think it would make for some sweet family portraits to have the kids building a snowman on the beach????
What can I say:  I’m Feeling Blessed!
