Wonderspaces is a cool travelling art exhibit that will be in San Diego for one more week.
You buy a timed ticket so they reserve a spot for you – and this turns out to be wonderful because the exhibits aren’t crowded.
The first piece of art is in the parking lot.
Where you see what looks like an arch of glass pieces, but then you notice an amazing rainbow prism of color.
(Really, the entire exhibit is like that – see something, then stop and interact and study it and you see something more….)
And then you get to go play in their field of smilies…
Inside the exhibit there are 12-15 exhibits to wander in and explore…
Each of these is a removable scroll of paper….
Each of those colors is a tiny strand of thread!
This colorful wall asks how are you today?
And if you know me at all – I wore BLESSED!
Clearly, it was fun to play in the rainbow shadow maker!
**And here’s how to make rainbow shadows:
We floated a giant ball with charcoal markers stuck in it, all around a room —
every time it bumped into the wall or ceiling, it wrote on it!
Reflections of heaven was my favorite exhibit-
you really did feel immersed in space -this was really cool!
These little cylinders on a string didn’t look like anything special…
Until you stand in one sweet spot where they all form a picture….
This piano made the people in the video SING!
It will only be here until August 27 – so get your tickets!
