I bet it’s not too hard to guess where I am……???
I go every year – just can’t miss it! If you haven’t been yet – GO!
And as usual, you get to go with me — because I love taking photos of everything and anything that catches my eye. [Yes, photography is my hobby as well as my career = PASSION!]
Check out the nurse on the sign advertising the Bacon Booth at the fair!
I’m pretty sure the fair is the only place in the world that ADVERTISES
someone giving medical care for bad food choices….
Speaking of bad food choices….
I say “Ewww…” to turkey legs
yum to grilled corn!
Total “YUM” to caramel apples!
And yum to the “Fair Combo” that hubby and I shared
from Chicken Charlies – very tasty boneless fried chicken, zucchini fries and onion rings…
This was the strangest thing we saw: Deep Fried Octopus on a Stick.
I say Ewww… What do you say?
And my all time favorite fair food: Naked Shrimp:

I love to stroll through the rides – just to see the amazing colors and fun:
We wandered in to a Don McLean concert which was really fun….
– and sang “American Pie” with him!
We always take time to look at the exhibits in
the photography competition and in the woodworking:
How’s this for an incredible baby Crib:
(I picture a grandpa lovingly making this for his first grandchild….?)
We also like to stroll through the shops –
I thought the folding wagons were cool…life with a preschooler would be so much easier with this!
Thought the cardboard furniture was strange….
I do appreciate crazy socks!
And I did make one purchase – am I crazy or WHAT?
We also love to stroll around the garden exhibits and the flower show….
Guess what else we like to do?
Riding the sky ride is our only ride — and is a family tradition!
(Used to be me and Matt – but now it’s me and hubby…)
Another tradition is kettle corn – saw this candy coated kettle corn, but said ‘No thanks”
give me the regular stuff anytime…
We also love a stroll through the carnival games….just to appreciate the colors!
And as we were exiting the fair, I thought this donation bin was a great idea!
as well as heirlooms for generations to come.
on scheduling your session.
