Ever drive down the main street of Ramona and think to yourself,
“Self, someday I’m going to stroll around the shops…just to see what’s there….”
Well, I have…am I the only one who talks to myself?
Well, I suggested it to my Divas (best pals) and we decided to schedule a little outing.
We parked on Main Street and started in the Candy Shop because WHY NOT?
And then strolled through one of the Antique Stores…..
Here are a few things that caught my eye….
**That is a real fox stole by the way.
Can you EVER even imagine hanging that around your neck? GROSS!
My grandma had a few of those signs…
What’s your vote on that scene:
Fun to explore?
Get me out of here?
(I’ll admit I’m not an antique-er….one shop, once every few years is plenty for me…)
I don’t know what Sorghum Syrup is, but apparently it’s delicious on pancakes
and it’s made on Racoon Mountain???
We played with their classic toys, enjoyed their little gift section
and looked through their books…
(How about a chicken purse?)
Right next door is a gardening store selling Pants and Plants….
The only thing I bought that day was lunch and a gigantic cinnamon roll
from the Ramona Cafe.
We chose the Ramona Cafe because we’d seen it on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives TV Show
so we thought it would be worth a visit…..
Fun and yummy!
