Frivolous Friday: The one with the Sun and the Moon
Yep, this happened #1:
Set my alarm for 5:30am the other day; grabbed my camera and tripod and headed for the
hills to capture the morning’s sunrise. Check out the beautiful blessing I received!
***Want to know what it looked like a few minutes before this?
All the details and a series of images captured during the
Progression of a Sunrise on my blog
And while we are on the subject of the sun….how about the moon rising over San Diego Bay….
Yep, this happened #3:
Rang in the New Year on East Coast time…BORING!
Then celebrated Southern Style on New Year’s Day when we ate Black Eyed Peas.
(According to Southern folklore, black eyed peas should be the first food to be eaten on New Year’s Day for luck and prosperity throughout the year ahead.)
Pioneer Woman calls it a salsa and eats it with tortilla chips, but I think it’s just the most amazing salad I’ve ever eaten (click for Pioneer Woman Recipe)
What can I say: I’m Feeling Blessed!
