First of all – Jessica and Dan received their entire wedding gallery and video show just ten days after their wedding. But can you believe I forgot to write about it on my blog?
Well, I did – so grab a cup of tea and let me tell you a fairytale about a princess and a prince who
met and fell in love….
Jessica and Dan met at college and it didn’t take long before they knew they had something special!
but we also arranged to meet two days before their wedding at Balboa Park
for a very romantic Groom’s First Look at his bride:
And an amazing two hours wandering around the
park capturing over 200 amazing romantic portraits!
Since all of those portraits were captured in advance of the wedding day (Bridals)
I then sent them a selection of portraits to print and have on display at their reception….
but I’m getting ahead of myself…
The next time we meet Jessica and Dan will be on their wedding day
My second photographer and I were ready with cameras and video when they exited the
Temple as husband and wife….
After capturing all the sweet hugs, tears and well wishes, we started some family and romantic portraits at the Temple.
The first portrait I love to capture is EVERYONE who attended the wedding,
then systematically capture all the other little family groups, so we have
the bride and groom’s entire wish list captured…I use a technique called “Flow Posing” so we can photograph a lot of different combinations in a very short amount of time….
AND we keep it fun because I’m all about FUN!
(To me, the purpose of a photograph is to capture the emotion, so when you
look back on the portrait, the feelings all rush back!)
And I always make sure there are TONS of moments captured —
this blog showcases about 40 of their portraits –
but the bride and groom have over 1,000 portraits in their wedding gallery –
There are candid photographs, posed, scene setters, details….
….smiles, tears and everything in between….Like WIND and GIGGLES~!
After our time at the Temple, the bride and groom were whisked away via limo to their reception site;
And the decor was fitting a fairy tale wedding….
And wait till you see how the couple arrived to their reception….
Horse and carriage! Is that amazing?
(And guess who got to ride along part of the way….yep…yours truly!)
And I just love it when a couple wants to sneak outside during a quiet part of the reception for some nighttime romantic portraits….it creates and amazing romantic time for them,
and some incredible images to keep forever….
I’m based in San Diego, but would love to travel to your wedding!

Years from now, all that will remain of your special day is your photographs, so choosing your photographer is one of your most important wedding day decisions.
And I have to share their wedding albums that arrived a month or so after their wedding:
No center binding to get in the way of portraits…..
