Comic-Con! For FREE! (Well sorta) What to do if you DON’T have a comic con ticket!

My favorite thing to do during comic-con is #1, NOT buy a ticket.
It’s to enjoy a fun and amazing walk all around downtown — we didn’t have a Comic Con ticket, but we experienced it anyway!
(And there really are a ton of things to do that don’t need a ticket!)

I have been doing this for years and it’s so much fun!!!

We watch the TV news broadcasts, the TV show interviews, see all the fun outdoor exhibits and advertising.
I love seeing our thriving city during it’s most exciting week of the year.

We don’t buy tickets, we just STROLL….

(EEK!  According to the signage on our trolley there were Mutants Aboard!)

And wait till you see the amazing costumes!
And everyone always says yes when I ask if I can take a photo and then strikes a pose!(I think next year I’m going to wear a costume too….just for my morning walk — any suggestions?)

Last year we ran into the Black Eyed Peas:

And a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle….

…and a ton more…

I love the fact that everyone is happy to let you take pictures of them in costume —
and they always give a special “in character pose”
(That costume looks too hot to wear all day!  And carry a zombie head…ALL DAY? That’s dedication!)

We happened upon an interview of the cast of Hannibal.
Don’t know anything about that show, but watching someone famous is fun!
Lots of reporters everywhere too….

HERE’s a link to a list of more NO TICKET fun!

What can I say:  I’m Feeling Blessed!
