Playing Tourist in San Francisco

Had an amazing little get away weekend with my hubby in San Francisco.

We’ve been there plenty of times, but we couldn’t resist another visit and a chance to play tourist.

We bought a 48 hour ticket for the double decker bus, hop on, hop off tour – so we didn’t need a car.

Of course the first meal of the trip HAS to be on the wharf where you can find things all tasty and fresh.

This guy was so fresh, he was walking around…poor guy…

My choice?  Clam Chowder in a bread bowl!

Speaking of bread, the Boudin Sour Dough bread company is right on the wharf too — YUM!

One day if I go to heaven…I’ll look around and say “It ain’t bad, but it ain’t San Francisco”. (Herb Caen)
