“The nuclear aircraft carrier John C. Stennis has returned to United States waters after more than six months at sea, during which its aircraft flew the final Navy flight in the long war in Iraq, more than 1,000 combat sorties over Afghanistan and high-seas counterpiracy patrols in the North Arabian Sea.”

well….sorry to say, but in my opinion that is not even close to the real story…

The real story is the families torn apart and the loneliness on both sides of the world…

But of course, there’s always a reunion….

Which I was so honored to witness and capture forever…

So, channel 7 news….that’s the REAL story!
