Lil Piggy’s Bar B Q
Well, as we were out visiting Coronado Island, we got a little hungry.
Hey – it was lunchtime and all.
So we spotted a cute little spot right by the pier.
Lil Piggy’s Bar B Q
So we stopped in.
HAD to try their fried dill pickles.
Just as research for the blog…of course.
They tasted good, but your mouth thinks it is an onion ring for the first few seconds, then your mouth says, “What the heck? Oh ya, dill pickle”
Your mouth pretty much says that EVERY bite.
Try it and let me know.
The pickles were fine, but now I’ve ‘been there done that’ and won’t need to order them again.
For my main course, (remember the pickles were just research) I ordered the BBQ baked potato with slaw.
Took half home for lunch the next day.
(Just as a little aside, don’t you love it the next day when you open the fridge and see a restaurant container with yummy leftovers? Like YAY!!! I can now have a tasty lunch and will not have to have campbell’s soup for the 179th day in a row! It’s just a happy little gift!)
Mike ordered the pulled pork sandwich.
And it was good. (That sounds like it was from Genesis or something, didn’t it?)
Anyhow – we would recommend it!
