I will go out of my way to step on a crunchy leaf.

If you were walking along the sidewalk and saw this, what would you do?

As for me – without hesitation — I would JUMP off the sidewalk and crunch the leaves in the gutter the whole way down the street.

And I’m not going to apologize for it either.

Next thing you know, I just might pick up a handful of leaves and throw them in the air….

Just for the sheer joy of it! (Oh ya, I am wild and crazy and live life on the EDGE!)

And lastly, can I just say, let’s be kind to bark. It has a rough life. (hee hee, snort, snort, oh I just crack myself up sometimes…)

WHY does this leaf get to grow all by itself right out of the trunk of the tree? How come he gets to skip having a branch?

My, my…… I guess this autumn weather is making me a bit fiesty lately…do you know it only reached 78 degrees here yesterday????…brrrrrr.
