Cinnamon Rolls

Had some friends over for coffee and wanted to whip up a little somethin’ somethin’…..

I settled on cinnamon rolls– brought along the camera so you could help me out!

Since I am allergic to hard work, I brought out the ole bread machine to help me with the dough.
I don’t use my bread machine much anymore – it’s way too fattening to be bakin bread all the time! (But I do like using it for the occassional recipe)

Ahhhh…..what a wonderfully, yeasty aroma!

Roll the dough into a rectangle.

Brush on a little (or a LOT) of butter

Then sprinkle on some sugar and cinnamon!

Rolling, rolling, rolling……

Let them rise again for about 45 minutes…..then bake

While it’s baking and filling your house with the MOST delicious smells, whip up some cream cheese frosting!

(Okay, you can just make a sugar glaze to pour on, but since the good Lord invented cream cheese frosting, I say go with that!)

This one’s for you — go get yourself a cuppa coffee and dig in!

“I like cinnamon rolls, but I don’t always have time to make a pan. That’s why I wish they would sell cinnamon roll incense. That way I can light a stick and have my roommate wake up with false hopes.”
