The sun is blazing, the air is sticky and you are sick of the same ole foods….
so it’s time for a little vacation for the taste buds!

A glass of fresh, icy cold lemonade!

Did you know that today is National Lemonade Day?

( I just happened upon that little tidbit of information and thought “wow, what could be more PERFECT than that?”)

So get yourself some sugar and a lemon…(go ahead, I’ll wait for you!)

And whip up a tall glass of lemonade!

Lemonade for One
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (about one lemon)
2 tablespoons sugar
¾-cup cold water

Combine the lemon juice and sugar in a tall glass; stir until the sugar dissolves. Stir in the water. Add ice. Start smiling.

Fresh lemonade is a delightful, affordable, Vitamin C-packed treat that carries the added bonus of nostalgia in every glass.

“Some sunny alchemy happens when you stir up a batch: a few lemons, some sugar, and some water become a smile-inducing tonic. It is a simple happiness in a complicated world.” Kathy Conrad
