Breakfast for 90

Since I’m lucky enough to serve on the Board of Children’s Ministry at my church, I get to help out at lots of fun events. One of the most special is our high school graduation breakfast.

We invite our graduating seniors, their parents and our pastors for a morning of celebration, fellowship, testimony and FUN!

This year, we served breakfast to 90 people!

First let me show you how beautiful the room was:

Festive isn’t it?

We have a gift bag for each graduate filled with a Bible, a CD of worship music, a pen and lots of graduation fun stuff (clappers, beads in their school colors, silly string, a beach ball, and candy!)

What do we serve for this breakfast?

Besides juice and coffee, we prepare the most delicious egg, cheese and green chili casserole, sausage and my personal favorite, waffles!

Not just any waffles though….

Belgian waffles with melted butter, syrup, strawberries, chocolate chips, pecans and whipped cream.

Oh ya, Babe! (Go for it…we’re celebrating, right?)

Well, after everyone has eaten breakfast, the program begins.

But not for us….

We quietly clear the tables, take everything down to the church kitchen, and dive in!
